Metal alloy composed of copper (Cu) and tin (Sn), often alloyed with other metals such as aluminum, nickel, zinc and lead. The union between copper and tin generates good mechanical features and great resistance to corrosion while maintaining an aptitude for rolling, extrusion, forging, printing and drawing. Its reduced friction with other metals is an important feature, making it suitable for the production of mechanical components resistant to wear and suitable for sliding between components.
